It is the time for giving,
Giving thoughtful gifts,
The kinds that make children smile—
The ones on their wish lists.

But, I just want one gift this year,
And it’s the gift of happiness,
Because you see,
Unlike toys and jewelry,
Happiness can last a lifetime.

So, instead of a list of wishes
That goes for miles and miles long,
This year, I want something more;
Something you can’t just buy at a store.

Yes, it’s the gift of happiness,
A gift that makes one blessed;
For it is such a powerful gift—
That is so remarkably priceless.
