Well, it’s been about 6 months since Stephanie and I have gotten married…and still no honeymoon.  There was simply too much to do at home and with business that we just could not get away.  But….not any more!  We have both scheduled an entire month to be together in Thailand for the month of April!!

So that means we will be unavailable for anyone  back in Canada….including any and all new or previous clients.  This is the longest amount of time that I will be away from home since I started photographing weddings back in 1998.  My next wedding of the year is not until May and this was the only time that we could both arrange to take this much time off.  The downside is that I will not be here to service my 2010 clients who haven’t placed their product orders yet.  The upside is that all of my potential clients will still have the ability to browse our portfolio, view our prices, and request a consultation online for when I get back.

I thank you for understanding my absence….and I can’t wait to show you the adventure that Stephanie and I have on our travels.

A freezing day to be out…let alone to be out just for a fun shoot. But Sonia and Martin were determined to have an amazing engagement session, even if it meant chilly noses (and bottoms)! I love shooting artwork for myself (and my clients). This image just spoke to me the instant I clicked the shutter. I have never seen a look of the city from the view of the frozen lake before. The air was freezing and it actually felt as if we were in Yellowknife or somewhere in upper Canada! A freezing cold day, but worth the frostbite!
